My blog is where I keep many of the memories I have created with my family and my children. I currently live over 2,500 miles from all 7 of my siblings, so this is a way for us to keep in touch through pictures and stories.

*ABBA* Normally I am not an ABBA fan, in fact I was just making fun of my eight year old sister a few weeks ago because she was jamming to the "Mamma Mia" soundtrack. Regardless, I went with my dear friend, Tammy, to a concert performed by an ABBA cover band. We had a lot of fun, and I was shocked at the amount of people there, including guys, who were dancing and singing along. I would have to say that the greatest part was watching all the people and seeing how much fun Addie was having dancing. All in all, it was really fun!
The singers in their 70's attire!
Adelynn dancing with a complete stranger, she danced with this lady for almost an hour!
Tammy, Adelynn, and Robin
Addie and her adopted aunt, Tammy
She LOVED the music, she was clapping her hands and sticking her tongue out.
*CAMPING*
For the 24th of July we celebrated just like the pioneers would have! We basically sat out in the HEAT and couldn't wait to get back to our air conditioned apartment. :) No, really we had a great time camping at Wasatch State Park in Midway, UT. We went to a campfire program the first night and learned about all the edible plants and berries within the camp. That was actually very informative and fun! We also spent some time at the kid's pond feeding the ducks, attempting to fish, and playing on the playground. We took Adelynn on her first REAL hike. She LOVED the first 1.2 miles getting to the end of our hike. The way back wasn't as pleasant, she was upset and tired by the time we made it back to camp. Not to mention, HOT! I thought I would share a few pics!

WE MADE IT! (this is where we hiked to, it was a glacier wash, that means a bunch of rocks, NOT water!)

She Loves to sit and jump on rocks.

IT'S A BOY!
We are expecting a baby boy sometime around December 1st! We went yesterday and got the 20 week ultrasound. These aren't the greatest pictures, but we're excited and wanted to share our news! We went to the Cheesecake Factory after the ultrasound to celebrate. YUMMY! We were glad to hear that everything looked great and that the baby was growing and developing right on schedule.
