Good Things Happen...To Good People?!?

Somedays, I wonder when I am going to get a break. When is God going to send me a little blessing to keep me positive about life? Well, I finally got one, and in fact it was three things all within 24 hours. I had to share them with you, to keep you positive and tell you that your "blessings" are coming too. First, Celine Dion FINALLY came to Salt Lake, and I got to see her live (for the 2nd time). In one word, it was AMAZING! Second, not only did I pass my Praxis II test (for teaching), I got a fairly good score; a 182 out of 200! Yeah for me, because I thought I had flunked. :) Third, I got $1000.00 EXTRA on my paycheck! Everyone kept saying not to spend it because we would end up having to pay it back. So, I just pretended it wasn't there, and then yesterday my principal said, "Keep it, it's your sign on bonus". WOOHOO! Now we can pay off one more credit card (Dave Ramsey would be so proud). Well, I will have to post some more pictures of Celine in real life, but my sister Lawna was the one taking all the pictures, so I have to wait to get them. But, just know that for right now, I am having a rockin' good day.

Valentine's and Stuff

Yogurt on Addie's nose!

Every once in awhile Adelynn calms down enough to put her head on a pillow, she looks sad, but she was just whining. She has become a pro at whining.
This is Adelynn's Valentine's balloon. She loves it. And, you can see she is starting to get some hair growth (it just sticks up and out everywhere).


This is what Addie does everytime I get the camera out, she wants EVERYTHING we have. So, I haven't been able to get very may pictures lately.

Addie is reading the Valentine card that G and G Stoker sent. She carried it around for a day.

Corey's Great Aunt turned 90, and she had a HUGE party. I never would have guessed she was ninety.

Something New

I think it was obvious that I needed to update my blog, because everytime I talked to my Mom she said, "Are you guys still sick?" So, here are a few pictures of what we have been up to. We've just been hanging in there. Nothing too exciting. I just thought I would put a few pictures of Addie on here.

This is who we watched the super bowl with. Tony, a guy Corey works with, and all his family. So, they were complete strangers to me, but we had fun!

Adelynn is in love with apples. She carries them everywhere and chews on them.
She seems to always have a bright smile, she is such a born teaser.

She has a new/old love for her "baby" bouncer. She sits in it when she wants to just chill and listen to the "Itsy Bitsy Spider".

I took my students sledding with a few other classes. We had a blast, and one of my students said, "This is the best day of my life!" It probably really was too. :( Anyway, I can't legally post pictures of my students, but I thought that this one was harmless. Greatest field trip ever!
