Yikes!

Adelynn eating her toes for an after dinner snack!
Addie and I

Lately I haven't been able to take a shower without Addie screaming her guts out. She doesn't have a problem with me leaving, or doing anything else, just when I shower (she must know it's my time to take a break). So, yesterday I put her in her walker with some finger foods, and hid her in the kitchen while I enjoyed my shower. She had no problems, and we were all happy! So, I thought I found the perfect solution! This morning when I went to shower, I did the same thing, gave her food, stuck her in her walker, and hid her in the kitchen. Then, I thought, "Well, I'm a bad parent, because what if she chokes, and I shouldn't leave her unattended in the walker". So, I wheeled the walker closer to the shower, so that I could peek on her while I showered. Guess what? As soon as the shower started, Addie started crying. I was in there for a total of thirty seconds and I heard a higher pitched cry. I peeked out of the shower curtain to look at her, and she was head first on the floor, with her feet still stuck in the walker seat. I said a few choice words, and sat her on the floor to eat and play. Thankfully she was fine because she fell on carpet and not the kitchen floor. I just can't believe that she isn't even 8 months, and she is climbing out of the walker that is suppose to help her walk! My Grandma and Grandpa Stoker will love to know that I have finally found the solution for a quick shower, a child!

Reunions/Zoo

So, last weekend was a crazy time! We had a Koyle (Dad's side) reunion, and then the next day we had a Stoker (Mom's side) reunion. So, I thought this picture would show you a little of both, my Mom and my Dad!

We EAT at reunions, this is the Koyle reunion (My Dad and his BFF, Kendall)

Corey on Father's Day with Addie, he is opening the tackle box we gave him!

Adelynn at the Hogle Zoo, she slept, ate, pooped, and cried just as much as the animals there. Fun times!

Addie with her second cousins waiting for the elephant show. I can honeslty say we had an eventful weekend and that it was good to see all my cousins!

Summer!

Summer is here! We don't have the comforts of air conditioning in our little apartment, so we are trying to use small, window air conditioners. Adelynn's room is the worst for some reason, so she slept naked last night in order to help reduce the effects of the heat. Anyway, I saw this on a website and thought it was funny. I took Adelynn swimming for the first time yesterday, and what is with the dressing rooms at public pools? Yuck!

First Fish!

Corey and I got brave and took the girls camping and fishing. We just spent one night camping in Yellowpine campground, and the next day we went fishing at Moon Lake. Camping with kids is much more fun. We had a few incidents that made it worth ALL the work. One of them being that I caught my first fish! Corey taught me how to fish and then I was standing there saying that "we could be out here all day, and not catch anything!" And, immediatley I felt the fish on the end of my line. I started screaming and jumping, "I got a fish!" I seriuosly couldn't believe it, because Corey told me that we were fishing in the wrong place. Well, nobody else caught a fish, and we went home and cooked up mine and everyone had a piece.

Adelynn on her first campout, she did very well!

Corey and I fishing on our anniversary. We went to Idaho and celebrated our anniversary early, so yesterday (the 10th), we went fishing with the girls. It was well worth it, even if the sand blew into every crack and crevice.

Sister, Sister!

On the car ride to "Rosie" Town

Dinosaur Museum

Kristen and Naomi with the Mammoth
All smiles!

So...I am use to sitting at home with Addie all day, cleaning, reading, and updating my blog. But, this week I have been busy hanging with my sisters. Well, actually this is one of the first times I have been able to touch the computer, because my sisters have been busy playing Polly Pocket games, and cruising the internet. I had to "steal" the computer from them in order to type this. Well, my three youngest sisters: Kristen (Age 15), Naomi (12), and Brittana (6), came home with Corey and I on Wednesday of last week, and they will be staying until next Saturday. I love having them here, especially when Corey is gone to work. However, I have to be the responsible sister and make sure they get fed, entertained, and don't kill each other. So, I kind of feel like a Super Mom this week. I'm not complaining, just letting you know what I have learned from this experience. I wish they lived closer so that I could see them more often, but at least I have this small amount of time to spend with them this summer. I have added a few pictures of some of the things we have done together. Oh ya, I want to send a shout out to my brothers too, love ya Layne and Ethan, wish you could have come too!
