Logan

Ryker, Merrilee, and Kate!
Corey and I FINALLY made it back to Logan to visit our friends. It’s the town that we met in, dated, and got married in. So we have some fond memories of the place. We took Adelynn for the first time to see our old “stomping grounds”. Thank you, Gary and LaRecia for letting us stay! We also had a barbeque with my old roommates, Dezi and Merrilee, and their families. It was good to see everyone, but depressing to have to come back to the ghetto (Roosevelt). Here are a few pictures from our visit, and a funny video at the end.

We stayed with Gary and LaRecia Walker, they were very kind to let us stay!

Grandma and Grandpa Stoker came to Roosevelt to visit and go to a funeral. So, we swam with them in the pool at the hotel. Addie loved it!

Blog-Worthy

Corey and I went to the McDonald's drive up to order drinks before we headed up the canyon to "throw our line in" (fish). As we pulled up to make our payment there was a sign that read, "Due to the rising costs of fuel we can no longer offer our double cheeseburgers and spicy chicken sanwiches for $1. The new price will be $1.49." What is this world coming to? The DOLLAR menu is no longer the dollar menu because of fuel prices?!? Give me a break, I think that everyone is suffering due to the cost of fuel prices, but the dollar menu at a billion dollar restaurant? This is a sign that things are going to get worse before they get better! It just really hit me, and I realized how much power whomever owns all this damn fuel really has. What a crazy world we live in. I know it is a stupid thing, it's really only 49 more cents for a sandwich that made me gain sixty pounds (while I was pregnant). However, it's much bigger than that.

Random

Adelynn is at the age where she has become quite the handful. This weekend I went home to Idaho with Addie, to see my brother (Layne), he just got back from his mission from New Mexico. I will have to post a few pictures from that trip later. Anyway, my Mom had fun watching me chase after Addie all weekend. She is crawling everywhere, and getting into everything. She wants to walk sooo bad, but she isn't strong enough yet. The above picture was taken around the fourth of July, she's in her 4th of July outfit, and she had eaten all the bread on the inside of the toast, so I let her chew on the crust. I am amazed at how children can grow so quickly.

Las Vegas!

Corey, Adelynn, and I went to Las Vegas with his family for summer vacation. It was a lot of fun, but a TON of work with a baby. We were glad that we went with family, because then we had their help with Addie. We decided to fly, because it was fairly cheap, and it gave the kids a chance to fly. Vegas was SO HOTT, that we couldn't even relax by the pool. And, the plane engine wouldn't start because of the heat, so that was a little scary. But, they finally got it going. Most of us went to the David Copperfield show, and it was very awesome! We were three rows from the stage. I think I found my new crush. He made a rose out of tissue paper, and then lit it on fire, and it turned into a real rose. He gave it to a girl, but not me. :( He also made a car appear on the stage, and thirteen people (from the audience) disappear and reappear. WOW, I still wonder how he does it! Anyway, we had fun, and here are a few pictures from the trip.

The only picture we got of the whole family at the top of the Stratosphere. (Cathy, Addie, and I missing)
