Corey and I got brave and took the girls camping and fishing. We just spent one night camping in Yellowpine campground, and the next day we went fishing at Moon Lake. Camping with kids is much more fun. We had a few incidents that made it worth ALL the work. One of them being that I caught my first fish! Corey taught me how to fish and then I was standing there saying that "we could be out here all day, and not catch anything!" And, immediatley I felt the fish on the end of my line. I started screaming and jumping, "I got a fish!" I seriuosly couldn't believe it, because Corey told me that we were fishing in the wrong place. Well, nobody else caught a fish, and we went home and cooked up mine and everyone had a piece.

Adelynn on her first campout, she did very well!

The three girls in the meadow (dandelions)

Corey and I fishing on our anniversary. We went to Idaho and celebrated our anniversary early, so yesterday (the 10th), we went fishing with the girls. It was well worth it, even if the sand blew into every crack and crevice.
Really your first fish??? what is with your family never going fishing?? We took Layne to catch his first fish like 2 years ago... look like you had fun:)
ReplyDeleteCongrats! It was a good size too. Carter said, "Whoa!" and "Baby Adelynn looks so cute in that picture!" The girls in the flowers is a pretty pic too.
ReplyDeleteHow fun was that!!! Looks like you guys had a blast. Addie is so cute I want her to play with Ryder and Kate. Wow you are brave to eat the fish!

ReplyDeleteDidn't I try to get you to go fishing once? And you said it would be boring? I donno. But isn't it fun when you catch one! You are VERY brave to take everyone camping. You guys are too fun, I love how outdoorsie corey is, makes for a lot of fun adventures!
ReplyDeleteP.S. You look so skinny, and cute! Jealous.
