Good Things Happen...To Good People?!?

Somedays, I wonder when I am going to get a break. When is God going to send me a little blessing to keep me positive about life? Well, I finally got one, and in fact it was three things all within 24 hours. I had to share them with you, to keep you positive and tell you that your "blessings" are coming too. First, Celine Dion FINALLY came to Salt Lake, and I got to see her live (for the 2nd time). In one word, it was AMAZING! Second, not only did I pass my Praxis II test (for teaching), I got a fairly good score; a 182 out of 200! Yeah for me, because I thought I had flunked. :) Third, I got $1000.00 EXTRA on my paycheck! Everyone kept saying not to spend it because we would end up having to pay it back. So, I just pretended it wasn't there, and then yesterday my principal said, "Keep it, it's your sign on bonus". WOOHOO! Now we can pay off one more credit card (Dave Ramsey would be so proud). Well, I will have to post some more pictures of Celine in real life, but my sister Lawna was the one taking all the pictures, so I have to wait to get them. But, just know that for right now, I am having a rockin' good day.

    Yeah!!! I'm so excited for you and your test! And the other things too! You are one lucky girl to have seen Celine Dion and then to have 1000 extra bucks. Whoa!!!! That is one rockin' good day!

    Where did you get that pic of Celine? Her hair is really dark.
    I hope you used a little of that extra money to replace the "food money" that you spent on Red Vines. ;-)

    Miss Robin, I have to apologize for not congratulating you on the phone when you told me you had passed your test. I was so pre-occupied that I started talking about ME again quite promptly. :( Sorry. I am VERY excited for you. Isn't it wonderful to have those AWESOME days that make up for the crappy ones? :) Speaking of crappy ones, gotta go - I can smell a diaper that needs changing...
