My blog is where I keep many of the memories I have created with my family and my children. I currently live over 2,500 miles from all 7 of my siblings, so this is a way for us to keep in touch through pictures and stories.

It Never Ends!
Do you ever feel like the cleaning, doing laundry, and dishes never go away! GRRR! I have like five books I'm trying to read, but unfortunatley I am OCD and can't relax long enough to sit down and read. Mostly because there is always some kind of "crap" to take care of. Well, now that I got that off my chest, I will tell you a little about my husband. About this time of year (Spring Time) he finds a new hobby. Last year his hobby was backpacking. He got so obsessed that he sewed his own tarp tent and sleeping bag. Well, this year his new obsession is mountain biking! He bought a bike online and assembled it himself. That way he would know what it was made of (and it was lots cheaper, it's the ONLY way I said yes). Well, the bike already needed a tune up, so he insisted that we drive to Vernal today so that we could take it to the bike shop. At the bike shop he talked me into buying a helmet (he wouldn't want to die) and extra tire tubes (or get a flat). Since we were in Vernal we went to his parents house for a minute to visit. Corey left (in his truck) for a few minutes to get us something to eat. While he was leaving the "Country Grub" (yes, that's the real name), his truck DIED! He thinks it is gone forever, because of the sound it made. He's thinking it might need a new engine. So, Corey says, "Well, it's a good thing I bought my bike!" What a dork, but I love his guts, and pretty much everything about him!

Wow, that sucks. How did you get home?
ReplyDeleteHEHEHE you gotta love him. Next he will want a thing to put on the back of the bike, so Addie can go too. I'm sorry about the truck! Really do make him ride his bike everywhere.
ReplyDeleteWould could just make him work all of the time, and then he wouldn't have time for Hobbies. That is what i do! Well, not me the USPS, but someone has to do the dirty work.
