Adelynn turned one on November 8th! It is really hard to believe, that I have a one year old. In some ways it seems like yesterday that I was having her, and in other ways it feels like a different lifetime. I am glad it is a memory with good and bad, but we have a beautiful daughter from it all. One of these days I might be brave enough to actually write down my birth story, but today isn't the day. I still cry thinking about it. Anyway, we took Addie to the doctor today and she weighed in at 19 lbs and 9 oz, and 29 1/4 inches long. She is 50 percent for her height, I knew she was tall, because all of her pants are high-waters! She's walking everywhere, and is learning how to feed herself with a spoon. As for her birthday party, it was a small gathering of Corey's family, but she was overwhelmed even with the small crowd. She truly didn't know what to think about all the attention she got. This video shows her looking at her cake, instead of blowing out the candle!
She is so big. I hope that you get are card soon, not that she can read it. Makayla is so excited that we bought her and Addie matching croc shoes the other day.I will give them to you when you come for Celine.

ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Addie! She is soooo soooo cute! How can ya not love that little face?! It is wierd, I always felt like Ryker was so much older when he turned one, then he actually was, now I look at Addie turning one, and Kate turning one, and I think, wow, they are BABIES! I donno how to explain that I guess. Anywho, I love how confusing the birthday cake/candle/everyone cheering/clapping/encouraging their kid to do something during the event, is. Their heads are probably spinning! :) Love it!
