Middle of August!

I was doing some journal writing today, and was surprised when I wrote the 15th of August. I am shocked that the summer has gone by so fast. Before we know it the little children will be headed back to school...and I wont be going with them. It's a bitter sweet feeling. I went to Angela's classroom with her on Wed., and tried to help her. But, as I was organizing her paper on the shelves, I had some feelings of relief. Glad that it will be her classroom I will be volunteering in and not my own. I have realized that Addie needs me this summer, and we have become great friends. I wouldn't want to think about a life without her. She is my little buddy, and I'm thankful that I can stay at home with her. I have a few pictures and videos that I have been going through, and thought that I would share them with you all. Last week Corey went with his brother on a backpacking trip, and Adelynn and I headed to Idaho to hang with my family. I love my sisters and my Mom! They were awesome, entertaining Addie, and giving me a break. We went on a picnic in the Twin Falls canyon, and went shopping. That's right, I spent WAY too much money, but I had a blast doing it! I don't have any pictures from Idaho because Corey had the camera. So, you might see some photos of the WORST backpacking trip ever. It rained and hailed the entire time. And, they thought they were going to have fun? They spent most of their time in the tent hiding from the crazy weather.

P.S. For some reason blogger is dumb, and I can't see where my pictures are. So, just take a guess at who is in the pictures! :)

  2. It's Weston and Braxton, the boys that she spent SOO much time with while I was teaching. They are like brothers to her.

  3. That's hilarious that she put her hand in WITH the spoon. My kids would have chucked the spoon if they thought it was in the way.
