Corey will be taking the GRE tomorrow at noon! He has spent the past three months studying vocabulary, reading comprehension, math, and writing in order to get a decent score on the GRE. Now that we are down to 24 hours before the test, I feel like Corey is going to buckle under all the pressure. Our apartment is overflowing with GRE books, cd's, and vocabulary words. And, I know Corey's brain is about ready to burst. I KNOW he will do great and IF he doesn't he can always re-take it. So, really there is nothing to stress about, except that his chances of getting into the schools he wants require high scores on this specific test. :) We are just crossing our fingers and hoping that all this studying will pay off.
This made me laugh, because it's so true. It seems like all the practice questions are impossible.

ReplyDeleteWell, like the title of this blog post says this Gre IS going to be the death of us. He didn't get a very good score, and so we are back at square one! But, he signed up for a six week prep course that should help him out a lot. So, he will be re-taking it in about six weeks. :)
