Battleship North Carolina

If you like American History at all, than you will have a great appreciation for this Battleship that fought many battles in WWII. After the Battleship was decommissioned from the Navy they were going to sell it for scrap metal. The Governor of the State of North Carolina didn't like that idea and petitioned to have it placed in North Carolina as a Memorial. We spent a few hours touring this ship and I immediately got claustrophobic, I have NO idea how the men lived on that ship for months and years at a time. I came away with a GREAT appreciation for advancements in technology and the men and women who made huge sacrifices for our freedoms!
