More Fall Favorites and The Raleigh Christmas Parade

This post is mostly pictures of trees, so those of you who live in Raleigh already see hundreds of trees on a daily basis. So, this post is for my Idaho/Utah family and friends. I want them all to know what Fall is like here in Raleigh. First, it doesn’t snow, the colors are beautiful, and if you have the opportunity to go outside and sit amongst the trees you can watch several hundreds of leaves fall each hour. I love it!

  Christmas Parade

The Raleigh Christmas Parade has been happening for over 60 years, it is scheduled the Saturday before Thanksgiving. We decided to join about 40,000 people on the parade route for the largest Christmas Parade between Washington, DC and Atlanta. (Haha, everyone knows there isn't much between D.C. and Atlanta!)

Adelynn is all bundled up to get a peek at Santa, but she has to see the rest of the parade first.
We sat right by the free hot chocolate from the First Baptist Church, it was awesome, we drank about 2 cups each.

 Merry Christmas from Kermit!
