Pig Pickin' Fundraiser

I am the camp director for our young women's camp this year, it has been keeping me busy with pre-camp meetings and activities, but our camp fundraiser was an experience to remember! The young men and young women sold tickets to our barbecue. Then, the night before we pulled the pork apart, it was super nasty, but a great bonding time. The next day, we stood out by a busy road near our church and held up signs asking people to stop and buy the barbecue. When it was all over, and we got home Addy said, "Mom you were really crazy out there, but it made people stop". You know that you've gone a little crazy when your five year old notices. :)  And, I ended up with a silly farmer-sunburn after holding up signs and screaming at passing cars.
