I realize I have been absent from the blog world for some time now, but I have a few good excuses. I was gone to Idaho and Utah for almost three weeks, and the weeks prior to that I was drowning in Army paperwork, and trying to meet their deadline. I never was excited about Corey joining the Army Reserves, but now that I get to fill out huge amounts of paperwork I am becoming even less excited. But, I can't be too bitter because on August 1st, after going 13 months without health insurance, I will be insured. :)
Well, I try to blog about things I don't want to forget and this camping trip was one of those memories! Originally a bunch of us (young couples with children) wanted to go to the beach for a weekend. But, we couldn't figure out a time that everybody could go, so we settled for Falls Lake and a night camping on Father's Day weekend! Us older couples stayed up late talking and laughing around the fire. We gazed at stars and Adelynn had so much fun she cried when we took the tent down, because she wanted to stay for days.

One of my favorite pictures (Catherine holding Baby Matthew after a blowout)!
It was fun to see all the Dad's hanging out with the kids and taking them down to the lake. Happy Father's Day to our Dad who works (studies) so hard for his family.
